Anastrozole

Anastrozole is an aromatase-inhibiting drug used in medicine for the treatment of breast cancer after surgery, as well as for metastasis in both pre and post-menopausal women. Anastrozole works by inhibiting the synthesis of estrogen in the human body. This fact can slow or stop the growth of many types of breast cancer cells that need estrogen to grow. Excess estradiol in men can cause benign prostatic hyperplasia, gynecomastia, and symptoms of hypogonadism. This medication is also used to treat breast cancer in women whose cancer has worsened after taking Tamoxifen (Nolvadex). Among bodybuilders and athletes this substance (usually made under the brand name Arimidex) is widely spread for its efficiency in reducing and preventing symptoms of excess estrogens.

The main role of Anastrozole drug is to prevent such common problem among bodybuilders, anabolic steroids users, like gynecomastia and water retention. Due to its efficient stack combination with other anabolics the Anastrozole will increase the quality of the muscle, the athlete appearing harder and much more defined without holding excess water in the organism. This compound has great benefits to bodybuilders who use aromatizing steroids such as Testosterone. Usually, athletes using Anastrozole tablets will begin taking them the day they start their cycle, and will run them throughout the duration of steroid use. It is also important to point out Anastrozole’s ability to increase Testosterone in the body. Also this aromatase-inhibitor has been shown to reduce estrogen in the body by roughly 50%.
